A Soldier's Perspective
The Web’s Leading Military Blog Since 2004
Last Ditch Effort [BUMPED]
I bumped this because we’re getting so close. Only 5 away from the top spot again. But, let’s not stop there. If you haven’t voted, please take about 90 seconds and do so. The instructions are below. It’s also not cheating to have your family and friends go vote for me there too. You could also create a nice Powerpoint presentation on why it’s important for your entire company to vote for me. Only two more voting weeks left. Thanks for your support.
The Milbloggies are fast approaching their end and I’ve slipped into third place overall and second place among Army blogs. If you haven’t done yet, please go to Milblogging.com and vote for this site. Tell everyone you know about us and have them vote too. It only takes about 90 seconds of your time if you have broadband and maybe 4 minutes without. Thank you in advance. Here are the procedures:
Click on the “A Soldier’s Perspective” link on the left hand side of the Milblogging.com website.
Finally, click the “Add to Favorites” link under my site heading.
Or, you can skip all that and just click HERE, then add me to your favorites.
It won’t add me to your browswer favorites, it’ll just count that as a vote. You may have to register, but don’t worry about that. You won’t be asked for personal information and it won’t cause you to get more spam. It’s quick, easy, and pain free. Everyone who votes for me will get a free lifetime supply of gratitude, but you have to vote now!!
This is my final begging session before I hit the road for a cross country journey into the unknown.
There is a site called HappyNews.com. The sole purpose of the site is to highlight positive news stories that happen in place of all the death, destruction, murder, rape, and other sensationalistic news stories the MSM likes to tout. There is also a section I like a lot titled simply “Heroes.” It’s not all military heroes, but there are some highlighted there. Check it out.

CJ, I hope y’all have a very safe trip. I look forward to hearing from you once you’re settled. Take care and be safe.

Hey CJ, I will email this link to my nonblogging friends. Hopefully they make the right choice and vote for you and not some other honorable milblog.
I’m in a radioblogger contest btw. Deadline’s Tuesday I think.
Karen
You got my vote!
