  1. While you’re putting your country before today’s luxuries, I want you to know how much I admire and appreciate your protection. Without your courage we would not live in a free, humanitarian culture. You are THE next greatest generation, and barely in time. Thank you.

  2. Every Freedom we have in the United States and the Beauty of our Land being Preserved is directly related to our Soldiers service! There are no words that would give this type of service “fair merit”. All I can say is Thank You from the Heart, Iris

  3. I thought someone may enjoy this. It shows that even the youngest of people see and hear everything that goes on in this sometimes scary but beautiful world. I think the things we as adults may sometimes overlook do help shape and mold our youth. I am the mother of the child that wrote the report below and I think if our soldiers read this they would see they are not forgotten and even extremely looked up to. I will type this exactly how it is written. As you read it please remember the writer is an 8 year old, third grade boy, with a simple assignment, write what he wants to be when he grows up. That to me is why it is so touching and awesome.

I want to be an Armey Soldier when I grow up. Being an armey Soldier will make me a better person and I will serve my country. It would be my honor to save lives. As an Armey Soldier I will try to keep my country free. I will be protecting innocent lives. There will be very little men left if no one shows in time. I will fight for America. I will keep my parents proud.

To become an Armey Soldier you have to go to bootcamp. Maybe even go to another country to fight. You have to go to another city. I would be proud that I made it to the military, but I would be fearful that I would pass on. The end

I hope this can be read by a soldier or two so they know they are not forgotten even the little guys love them and want to growup and be just like them.

    Sincerely, Thea Heinrichs (mom)
