While I was stationed at Redstone Arsenal, there was a lot of talk about building a veterans memorial near downtown Huntsville. My wife and I even contributed to the building of the memorial. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there long enough to see the project completed. A friend from Huntsville recently sent a photo of the memorial and found it inspiring and beautiful.
